This event could have easily been avoided with the use of an on line bacteria monitoring system that provides real-time information on amount of bacteria within the Hotel’s water supply.

JMAR’s continuous monitoring system would have indicated any buildup of bacteria in the Hotel’s water and corrective action could have been taken before anyone became ill.

The economic impact to the Epic Hotel will be felt on several different levels from the immediate loss of revenue, displacement of guests, clean up and repair of the water system, to the long term effect on the brand name from bad press and expensive lawsuits.

The best solution is a low cost and energy efficient BioSentry Unit monitoring the water within resort hotels to keep your guests safe and ensure confidence in the water quality. For less than 35 cents a day per hotel guest, the Epic Hotel could have provided early warning of bacteria in the water and taken action before it became a problem.
